My new 07 Sport Edition v8 (Black)

I just joined the forum so I'm still figuring everything out, and I'm not sure if this will work. But this is the attempt at posting pictures of my 2007 Sport Edition v8 in Black. So far I've tinted the back windows at 20% (On top of the factory tint) and 35% on the front windows. I was hoping to get some ideas on any other modifications I should do to it? Rims? Wheels? Etc.... Thanks!

Nice 4Runner, So are you wanting to put some big rims like 20"s or 22"s on it? Or lift it?

Yep, they do. The reason I got a Sport (Besides the fact that they look great because of the hood design), was because they don't make SR5's with V8 AND 4X4. It's one or the other. I needed both.... Haha.

I should probably clarify, that they didn't make any '07 BLACK SR5 that got distributed to anywhere within around 900+ miles from where i live.... Not that they don't make them at all.

I've been looking at rims lately but I'm not sure how big I want to go, I want to stay away from the Escalade look. I'm thinking about black/chrome rims though, probably something that will fit the tires I already have since they are decent tires to begin with. What I really want to do is change the bumpers and roof racks so that the bumpers have the silver in the middle, and the roof racks are silver also. But i'm not sure if that can be done. Should I leave the door handles black or put those snap on chrome handles instead?

So far I've put an exhaust tip and skid plate on. I'm thinking about putting Jaos skid bars on both the front and back. Then rims. Im still looking for other ideas to add to it.

I don't think he wants to make the whole back bumper silver, but rather just the portion in the bottom middle. Sort of like the '03 - '05 models had it from the factory. It gives it a sort of skid plate appearance and it looks great, in my opinion.

Yeah that's what I meant. Why the hell would I change the entire bumper? Its idiotic to think someone would do that. I dont even like the runners that have the plastic trim let alone an altered bumper haha. thanks for clarifying that Even Steven.

Can you take a pic of the whole car showing all the windows. I was thinking of tinting my windows too. How is your visibility with the backs so dark?

If you were talking to me, visibility is only a little rough at night when i'm backing out of my girlfriends driveway because street lights aren't bright. But when I get home I can still back into a spot between 2 other vehicles, so it doesn't make it impossible to see. I'll take some pictures before i go to class, and post them when I get back. It's really overcast on the coast today so they will look almost painted black, which will actually look sweet.

35% front looks really dark lol.. No windshield visor tint?? haha I cant really imagine putting 20% on top of the factory tint! I'm already having a hard time seeing out of my Magic Black tint at night... (well it is the Philippines though lol.. CA it's illegal for front tint! tsk tsk lol)

Yeah I know haha. But with how dark the back ones are, the front ones don't look very dark. Plus the cops here are only ****s to rice rockets. I'm in criminal justice classes so I figured out that they target certain vehicles. Small fast cars, and expensive trucks like escalades. So I don't ever ave any problems. They usually just nod their head at me politely if I pull up next to one. :biggrin2:

Alright well here are some full-body shots for a better look at how tinted they are. AS you can tell, it is very gloomy and over-cast here today, so excuse the bright resolution. Damn marine layers.

I did different angles so you can see that the front windows look WAY darker from the side, compared to looking at it head-on. My back side windows are basically limo, and the very back is 35% on top of the factory, so you can barely see in it. Hope this helps.
