My "new" 2000 SR5

Picked it up Monday! 77000 miles, highlander package, v6, 4wd. Man I'm so pleased with it!

Sweet! Looks identical to mine. Whats the highlander package? Does yours have leather or cloth? Ive been trying to figure out exactly what mine is.

i believe highlander package was the hood scoop.... it was later changed to 4runner sport package. it could have been a little different suspension too?????

It was called the Highlander for the '99-'900 models then was called the Sport package then in '02 they had an offical Sport Editon with badges and the front skidplate.

Not all Highlander/Sport had the rear locker but all '99s had the taller coils and most of the '00s did but in '01 every 4Runner got the shorter (safer) coils.

So Im guessing mine must be an SR5 with the sport pkg. Its all black with black-chrome badges. Has the hood scoop, fender flares with tan cloth interior. No diff locker though. Im not real sure about the suspension. Regardless of what it is....I love this thing!!!:biggrin2:

'00s were still called the Highlander til Toyota passed that name onto the more family street going SUV in '01.
