My New 4Runner!!!

I recently bought this 4Runner, and LOVE IT!

1999 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4X4
223,000 Miles
Same owner since 40K miles
Dealer maintained

I am so happy about this rig, its in unbelievable condition for a car with that much mileage. I Picked it up for $5,000. Runs and drives great, has a minor leak in the valve cover gasket (around $350) and the driver door lock actuator is broken, other then that its a solid rig.

I sold my other 99 Limited 4X4 with 208K miles on it, it was in awful shape, dented and the front bumper was tweaked from an accident, had a few issues and got $4,500 for that one so for the extra $500 im astounded. Enjoy the photos

I added the roof rack, bought it only for $130 shipped, brand new, so not the best but it looks nice and give it some class. I am slowly going to start modding this 4Runner, slowly but surely. (Yes i have the center cap)

Some mods i have in mind: Black off road wheels, sport hood with hood scoop, maybe a grill guard with spot lights. Located in SoCal

Looks a lot like something parked in my garage everynight. Mods plan sounds cool. But I'd include losing the running boards. I'd take them off mine if it was my driver.

I'd also remove the running boards, and find something to use as a wind deflector in front of the roof rack (it looks like it needs something). Looks like a nice upgrade for $500, sharp truck!

Yeah im lookin to get a wind deflector, any links to suggensted ones help. For the running boards, i know there cool to take off, i like them on now i may take them off down the road.

Looks very well maintained, and I love the silver! Congrats!

BTW, I like the running boards on the Limited Runners. I plan to keep mine on!

I may want some new rims, preferably some black off road ones but still uncertain because I do like the stocks, speaking of which anyone suggest certain rims and tires? keep in mind im a college student and would prefer used and not too expensive.

Great purchase.

As for the tires, I really like my BFG AT k/o. Solid, long mileaged tire. I found the best prices at Discount Tire. Not a super cheap mod but new more aggressive tires make a rig look good!

If you want to save money on wheels, you can paint them yourself and save a ton of money. Or sell them (I see SantaCruzRunner already asked!!) and use some of that money to defray costs for a new set.

its got a few fine scratches and rock chips on the front bumper, but hardly noticeable as you can see, and the leathes great but starting to wear off on the left side from the previous owner rubbing it every time he got in and out, but i love it, and cant wait to modify it

Might be a good idea to treat the leather now with some conditioner to prevent further cracking and wearing...I'd think!

Well if your gonna sell them let me know please!
