My new 4Runner

Greetings all,
Been reading this forum since middle of August when I bought my 1996 4Runner and thought it was about time to get registered and post a couple of pics of my new Toy (hopefully they come through : ).
I've had Toyotas forever it seems like - 88, 91 Camry, 97 Corolla, 96 Tacoma and now my first 4Runner. Bought it from original owner with 86K miles and all records - the guy took really good care of it.
V6, 5spd manual, 17" rims, sports package - mint condition.

Yea, you might say that. I was looking for about a month before I found this one. Didn't have anyluck in the Portland, Oregon area (where I live) and actually found it in Redmond, Washington.

Congrats!

I love my 97 SR5 w/ the 4sp auto, but if I ever replaced it, I'd hold out for a 5-speed.

I don't tow or drive much in stop/go traffic (work in NYC, take the bus), and I miss shifting!

I wish i had a 5-speed. Before I bought my limited, i was shopping for about 3 weeks and only came across one MT. Let us know how you like it.
