It's at the dealership in Olympia and will be on the boat to Anchorage in a few days.
We got 6 inches of snow last night, so I'm like a kid waiting for my best Christmas present ever.

Man, That must be killing you to know your new car is just sitting there right now! I remember the anticipation I had when I ordered 2 previous cars and it was nerve-racking!

Anyway, you must have great discipline to not hop on a flight and go get that bad boy!

You're right, Drake. I'm just hoping my trusty old '84 Volvo wagon (had it since new) will give me 10 more days before it dies and goes to Valhalla.

I'm biding my time by reading the Accessories forum here, and dreaming of a Galactic Gray Christmas.

Ah yes, mods and accessories.
I really like the looks of that winch, bumper, skidplate set-up you have.

But first thing for me will be to get some good floormats. I'm thinking Weathertech floorliners front and rear.
I put Weathertechs in my Volvo wagon in 1984, and the carpet underneath still looks new.

If you ever decide to go for a winch bumper, mine is the Shrockworks. It was designed to also work with the 2006 hood design. I am very impressed with the design and workmanship. Your approach angle is improved better than any other winch bumpers I have seen. I highly recommend them. :bigok:

I haven't used them yet but I have heard the Weathertech floor liners are great. Especially in the mud and snow you

There is excitement in both waiting for the car, and when you first get the car. The most excitement, i think, would be the waiting. You're anticipating the arrival of the vehicle, but you're trying to already figure out what the controls or functions of the stuffs inside the car. Once you get it, yes it's exciting because it feels brand new, because you're not adjusted to it yet, but the excitement slowly wears away once you know how to use the feaures, and when your body's getting used to the vehicle.

Thanks to all of you.
I got so antsy this morning that I went to the local Toyota dealership and test drove two 4Runners.....an SR5 V8 and an SE V6.
These are the first 4Runners I've ever driven.
What awesome trucks!!!

Sleeping? I can't.

Instead, I just researched and then ordered black Weathertech Floorliners for my new baby. I'll bring them with me when I get my V8 SE down at the Port of Anchorage.

I'm also researching Blizzak DM-Z3s, since we have a lot of icy roads up here.
I've got miles to go before I sleep.
