My New Bi-Xenon HID

These are my new HIDs. they were super easy to install, they are insanely bright and on the high beam, they are brighter, well not extremely bright. i have not got flashed by oncoming drivers, so i assume i am not blinding anyone. got it for $95 ebay and it came with a year warranty:D i know i took a chance, but i said what the hell.

Yeah i know, the guy was really nice.... i read around forums about this guy (HIDGATE) and they gave him a good rep. Its been raining here lately and now i can see more better, now i wanna put some fogs on, but dont know how to.
 
i might get alot of crap from people because they would have wire it differently, but this is how i did mine with 12 GA wire and its working fine!

in the picture it shows the fogs on, but the switch off, didnt catch that till i had it on the website

thats great, im going to try it, but i have a question, i want to obviously put the switch inside, but how do i go through the fire wall, i never took apart or know how to take aprt the dash, would i have to?
 
open your hood, on the driver side on the fire wall you will see a HUGE amount of wires going into the cab and there is a rubber grommet around it all, i just stuck a coat hanger threw the grommet and then tied the wires to the coat hanger and pulled them all threw,


once again people might get mad that you could damage the wires, or grommet, but i dont care... i just did it, and it works great for me


then there are just 4 bolts holding the cover above your knees, i took it off and ran the wires up next to the steering wheel, if you need any more help just ask

i am going to get some lights right now!!!! well if any store is open, oh wait ill take some pics right now cuz i want to make sure if this is the right spot to mount them on.....

they are 8000k.... the only thing is that once in a while both lights will flicker, but the seller is helping me through it, so if all else fails, ill return it to him and he'll send me another one..:)

That's normal.

It could be due to daytime running lights there are many write ups on how to disable them here.
 
if you want a good clean look inside you can find factory fog light switches at your local toyota dealer. part #00550-35976 for the illuminated switch and part #PT297-89013-sw for non-illuminated, they both are about $17.
 
GREAT BUT

I think your purchase and install is great but
the GLARE is what is bothering me.

I see retro fitting is very important especially since you are at 8k for the color.

There is no beam control. It is just everywhere.

I retroed my Accord and it was great!
May cost $$$$ but less than $500
then i sold the damn car (LOL) and got my t4runner

yeah i know what you mean, but hell if it keeps me safe from the road im not complaining, plus no one really flashes me anyways:D :D :D :D
