My new DD! 1995 4x4/SR5 w/ Gold Package

So, I just bought my first 4Runner and first 4x4. I have been strictly a sports car (hobby) and regular car as a daily drivers my whole life.

Recently my DD which was a 2005 Hyundai Accent (yes you can laugh, but it did get 28mpg city) got totaled. So, with the insurance payment, I got a 4Runner and left over money paid off bills and bought Xmas stuff.

So...enough of what happened and wasting your time...on to what we have all been waiting for....


What: 1995 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4x4 Manual (with Gold Package...whatever the hell that is other than ugly decals!). It is burgundy exterior and Brown Cloth (ick) interior. Has 170K miles. Is in perfect condition and is a shining example of what a 170K 15+ year old 4Runner SHOULD look like!

I'm new to T4R, and have been lurking at pics of 2nd for some decent looking tires, and your T4R looks nice with the stock rims what kind of tires and what size you have? I like your ZZs I have a 280ZXT and 350Z also. Nice find on your T4R looks alot like the one I have

Thanks for the compliments on the Z's. They are my real headache/hobby. The tires came with the truck when I get them. They are 31x10.50x15 (IIRC) BFG A/T T/A KO's (TAKOs, i.e. Tacos). I really like them. They are too popular though so you definitely pay for them in price per tire. Id prefer a nice Japanese AT tire like a Nitto or something. But that will be later when I need them.

Found the front bumper is pretty mangled up from what appears to be multiple little bumps. I will hopefully replace it in the near future. Found a nearly mint condition OEM chrome bumper to replace the rear one of mine (thats also a little scuffed) for $50. I will hopefully get it this weekend.
