Except that it's a Hilux Surf, visually it is different from a 4Runner. Pretty close though.

It's pretty spot on being it doesn't have the giant wind screens or additional fender mirror. Only visual differences are the larger front bumper valance and the rear tire/spoiler.

It's a snap-together model, so pretty straight forward.

just bought one! but without the giant tires. I plan to trim the rear spoiler off and make it as close to my 4runner as possible.

Here's a shot of her mostly built. Planning to paint the body -- Voodoo blue obviously -- before putting on any stickers. There's even a HILUX sticker in the box!

The little motor has some serious torque -- thing runs over anything. It's quite impressive.

ordered, now I have a NEW 4runner coming my way with zero miles. Didn't give me an option like elocker, 5 speed etc, but that's ok. Hope its got the v-6.
of course mine will be desert dune or as near as I can get.

Somebody screwed you and sent you a 2nd gen with a wheezy 2.4L diesel instead.


But otherwise pretty cool. They have a 3rd gen Hilux Surf as well. The tires on it are more scale.
