Yesterday i installed my eibach coils and diff drop that i ordered from toytech. I also took off my running boards. I'm very happy with the out come, now i just need a light bar and some solteks. Going to ocotillo next week to test it all out

I gained 3 inches in the front, the rear was done 2 weeks ago but when i first did the install i tought i had the 5100 shocks at the 2.5 setting but there where at 0 so i had a 3 inch rake in the front.

What he's saying about your cv is that it looks as if the boot is torn. There looks to be some grease being slung from it. And if it throws all the grease out its really prone to binding up and snapping while in 4wheel drive.

Some guys up to replace the whole axle, and reboot the original to keep as a spare. But they can be rebooted in probably an hour or so and reinstalled so as to how to you would fix it is up to you. Keep in mind though that OEM are superior to Napa and the likes as far as replacements go.

You may tear your CV's even with a diff drop. Remember that the rubber on them hasn't really changed positions much since it rolled off the factory floor and it's 13+ years old.

I could see the grease oozing out. From my experience, replacing the boots sooner than later will give more longevity to your OEM CVs. I let mine go for months, and ultimately replaced both of them with ones from O'reilys, which, as other have stated, are inferior.

I'd say for anyone who buys a 4runner from here on out, and adds a lift to it, that they should also look into rebooting their CVs if they are OEM at the same time.

10-4 i'll look into replacing them but it wont probely be tell november because im planning on doing the tie rods and sway bars also.
