DUDE!!!

where did you get that!!

Ive been looking for a 4Runner hot wheel or matchbox forever!!!

what brand is that??

The Chassis is a Team Losi Micro Rock crawler, electric, they don't make gas rock crawlers, electrics have a lot more torque for crawling. Well I can't tell you were i got the body but it came with a little 4x4 chassis that takes two double a's. It would be a miracle if you found one on the internet.

Jeremy H - I've been into rc's for a long time but this is my first "real" crawler. I'm gonna paint the body and rims black, defoam the tires, move the battery over the rear axle with velcro and maybe go lipo. You got a nice collection there! I like the buggy on the floor.

Duhockey - I got it from a hobby shop like 9 years ago, the hobby shop isn't there anymore.

J.A. - Nice you found some! Now who's gonna be the 6 lucky forum members to get one? haha

Thanks. That buggy is my competition crawler and I just finished rebuilding it:

Thunder Power makes a great little 2S 250mAh lipo that will fit on the rear axle perfectly. It is only 1cm longer than the stock NiMH pack. You just gotta watch the voltage of the pack since the ESC doesn't have a low voltage cutoff. The pack is less than half the cost of the Losi lipo.

Nice! Duhockey, now all you need is a Losi Micro Crawler.

I lowered it so it doesn't look like monster truck and the cog is a lot lower and retaining all it's flex.DSCN0203[1].jpg

K2R, have you done any mods to it yet (besides the new body)? I've found that clipping the top two coils of the springs and running semi-droop lowers the stance nicely. I also reduced quite a bit of the weight up high by removing the ESC from the case, reconfiguring the chassis braces and putting the battery on the rear axle have all helped with it tipping over.

Duhockey,

the Microcrawler doesnt come with a 4Runner body. It comes with "buggy" style lexan body (4 or 5 different colors available). He mounted the 4Runner body himself. As for that body that you found....it will likely be too small. That body is a 1/32 scale....the Losi Micro is 1/24 scale.
