My New Rims and Tires!

Got em' put on about a week ago, finally found time to take pictures. They are Pro Comp Extreme Alloy Series 6005 17x8, with Michelin LTX AT/2's in a 265/65 tire size. Wanted the BFGoodrich T/A KO's but the 265/70 would not fit without trimming and the 265/65 only came in a 10 ply E load rated tire (Ouch).

Love the AT/2's, they are extremely quiet on road, much quieter than my Firestone Destination LE's. They also do very well in dirt. I went camping the day after I got them, in order to get to the campsite there is a 17 mile dirt road. Nothing crazy, a few rocks here and there, a few hills, did not have any problems with traction.

Next upgrade will be TRD Tundra Calipers/Rotors

Also I am selling the takeoffs if anyone is interested.

Clemson, 17" is the smallest size the come in, and I was actually wearing a red shirt, those are my shoelaces.:dancin:

The performance4trucks.com website had a typo for 50% off that model wheel, I had my local 4wheel parts price match it, then I used a $25 off any purchase coupon for each rim. 5 rims for less than $600 out the door.

I can't believe it actually worked, plus those two sites are owned by the same parent company so the manager reported the price goof, and the %50 price disappeared the next day!

I gotta say it looks awesome! I am in the same boat, I have a 99 2WD and I was looking at 265/70 for some 17x9 wheels I plan on getting but I think they might be a little much. There are 35 different tires for the 70 series and like 12 for the 65 series. Plus the 65 series average about $40 more a tire!!! Again nice setup you have there!

Good Eye! The first picture is about 3 months old. That dent was cause by one of my idiot "friends" who thought it would be funny, as I was leaving school, to kick my car with steel toed boots on.:chair: Sometimes i seriously question the wits of my cohorts.:cheers:

When I wind time I am going to remove that panel and get it out with a body hammer and dolly, or maybe just call a paint-less dent removal place. IDK
