Found a thread elsewhere about how to test the gauges. My gauge appears to be bad. Grounded the sender unit (one wire plug behind plenum).
No change. Going to buy a cheap gauge to see if I get a reading.
I fear however on one of my test runs I may have let things get to hot. I have no way to know though.
