I've got stock everything. Not clean enough to keep it that way, but not dirty enough to give me an excuse to pull the whole vehicle apart. So this is what I plan to do with my Runner, let me know what you guys think.
I have the Gold paint on the outside, but most of it has been horribly oxidized by the notorious AZ sun. So I'm sanding it down, to the bare metal. I'm going to do this to the whole thing for a stainless steel look, and then clear coat the vehicle to reduce rust and negative effects from the elements. So, sort of Delorean Runner. I'm then going to take the back and front lights, and black them out with some 3M vinyl headlight covers, and then possibly convert the headlights to HID or something similar. Then, pull off the back bumper, and the silver plastic trim, and make all of it matte black. I intend to do this with any of the silver trim on the truck, including the front bumper if I don't end up getting a bull bar/rock guard bumper. Next, pull out both the current coilsprings and rear shocks, and put in Moog CC255 and maybe some OME shocks.
If I don't end up getting some new, black wheels, then I would paint my current ones black myself. Tear out the dash, paint it black, along with the middle console, tear out the carpet in the back, put in bed-liner. I also want to heavily tint all of my windows, because at this point I'm getting sunburnt driving for about 25 minutes on the freeway. Replace front dash speakers, put in amp, truck box sub, rear boxes with more speakers, and maybe replace the rear speakers. (I'm obsessed with my audio) I then want to create a dash setup to hold a HAM radio, I plan on getting my HAM license soon. I would love to get dual exhaust headers and straight pipes but I'll most likely keep it stock and replace the pipes, make the end matte-black, add a Thrush Welded muffler in, and maybe try to redirect the piping. That's my plan for the time being, any suggestions from anyone?
