Finallllyyy starting this build thread!!
I searched and searched craigslist everyday for a YEAR,
would literally refresh the page every couple hours looking for the right 4runner.
Im a perfectionist and super picky, so i wanted a really good base to build on.
ideally what i wanted was a 99'-00' Imperial Jade Mica 4x4 with under 200k.
But i was sick of waiting around.
A Red 1997 SR5 V6 4x4 with only 147k Miles and a clean title... kinda
hwell:

Me and my tall ass haha.
I talked the guy down to $3800, which i think was a steal for that low of miles and the market in the pacific Northwest.
Honestly, i should not have bought it.
i knew it was missing a Cataylic converter and the o2 sensor but i liked the
fact that she wasnt perfect and had things to fix.
It was in a front end collision, front fenders, hood, bumper and lights all replaced. Frame isnt bent and she drives fine.
Clean title!:biggrin2: but not realllly.
But Im young and dumb and bought her with no service records or any proof of maintenance. :ybrick:
