My sad experience w/ vinyl wrap

So last week I was on ebay when I ran across some carbon fiber vinyl. Well something from the depths of hell inspired me to purchase a 4"x 6" sheet of this:whip2: and put it on my dash.

So here it is

This was actually a fun material to work with but it took my all of about 5 min to realize I had created a 4x4 ricer. So heres me taking it off 2 days later. lol, pathetic

lol, the idea was good.. but the fake carbon fiber look just never ends well! At least you had the option to rip it off

I thought about doing this... But the vinyl wrap guys told me it would peel off due to the texture of that plastic.

To me those stick on kits look ugly.

Unless your dash and trim are shot to shit, stay away from that.

Lol it was pulling away from the dash in some places after about an hour.

I actually wanted to do this but I didn't think it would work with the oak interior. I've also thought about painting the flat black stock interior to a piano black. My theme on the outside is gloss black (wheels, emblems, etc) to go with the jade mica green. Thought the glossy black inside would tie it together.

Lol, that sounds like something I would do. I plasti-dipped the lower part of my bumper a while back. Stepped back to look at it after it had dried and I had pulled off all the masking. 5 minutes later I was peeking it all off without even backing out of the garage....ha
