newbie, my first 4runner mod-i even have it ran to the armrest's mp3 input for zero static! the door still opens and closes as well.

It looks really good, but is it not a little difficult to operate being at that angle/height? Or do you just use a remote?

angle isnt bad at all. i use the remote and point it straight up with it held in my hand at a 90 degree angle w my arm resting on the armrest. i actually just reach up alot to use the 1 to 10 presets w/o a problem.

Cool setup. I have the same exact unit but I mounted mine right under the armrest. I was thinking about mounting it there but I was concerned about operating it while driving and I was too lazy to wire it all around the headliner.

I am pretty sure he means the factory mini jack input in the center console. That isn't a custom mod.
