I would like to say thank you for everyone who helped along the way by answering questions to my threads, offering advice, making suggestions, etc. It was greatly appreciated and helped tremendously.

My son was very excited to see the truck completed :)

Level 8 MK6 Matte Black -12 Offset Wheels
Ultimate Lift Kit for '96-'02 4Runner with Front coil 600LB Silver coils, 4x4 Front diff drop kit, Rear coil OME 890 coils Normal load 3" lift, and Rear Bilstein 5125 shocks
Complete Gates Timing Belt and Water Pump Kit
PlastiDip'd the emblems and front grill (was fun)
and most importantly... got our Silver t4r.org stickers :)

Thanks everyone! He turned 16 the end of September! He was very excited, but I have to admit, I enjoyed being a part of it as well and doing this for him. We are a 4Runner family and have enjoyed Toyota's for many years. Thanks again!
 
As I already said. That is a BA 16th Birthday Present. Now he can pay for the rest of the stuff that will go into it.

PS- I hear Allpro has some cool stuff for it and Savage. Just saying.

Thats a sharp looking 4runner right there. Im loving those wheels. Ive never seen them before. Your son is one lucky kid! He needs to hold on to that truck for life. Make it a father and son hobby for years to come??
 
Awesome Birthday gift! I hope he appreciates it.... some kids take stuff like this for granted.... :/

what a great platform to start from, my old man bought mine for my 16th birthday, still drive it today. every day.
 
That is one lucky kid! I had to buy my own first car which was nothing to brag about, a '81 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. At least I got it for $1.

Anyhow, nice rig!
 
Looking to adopt a 35 year old with a mindset of a 18 year old? I got good grades, made curfew most of the time, etc.

Seriously, very lucky kid. My boss gave his daughter a Range Rover Evoque for high school graduation since she received a full scholarship to UVA. I
