there goes all the trunk space. im ready for an upgrade but i need money, but u need more power, put 4000 watts to it and see how loud they can hit, i bet u its more of a headache. all i need is 4 13w7 in my trunk and about 8000-10000watts and itll be breaking windows in the runner.

4? I think 2 would be more than sufficent, and 1 would be loud and clean, 4 would be devastating!

just remember that if you decide to make your own box, although its cheaper, you really need to sit down and figure out all the deminsions correctly and then deduct the amount of space that the backside of the speakers take up within the box as well as the damping material. I used to have a 77nova that was pushing 2000watts thru 2-18's and 3-15'. also had other amps to run the mids and tweets. ended up scaling down to just 2 JL10's for the bass and it was so crisp and clean. you could have 10 woofers and it still sound like crap. time, thought, skill and doing it right is what will give you the best sound not an over kill like myself and many others try to do. having a vehicle rattle itself to death is just stupid unless you are going to invest in a good amount of dynamat and seal the car so that it does not sound like a jacked up VW Bug.

nope just comps. i didnt invest in a bigger or more expensive amp cause my 4runner is temporary. they are actually forsale on craigslist $350. im switching to a 1993 toyota mr2 with only 20k miles on it loaded, and 5 speed. this is a more suited car for me, the 4runner has spent too much time and gas making 120mph runs on the highway.

Do the 4th Gens not have a limit?

I know the 3rd Gens can't go over 108 or something like that.

The 4th's top speed is about 112-113. There's a thread here about it. I think it was Koz or another member that verified the speed with a GPS.
