Nice Setup! I offer you this advice: place the fuse closer to the battery. You will get better sound quality and more protection for your amp. But still amazing setup. 2 Kicker Solo's 12"?

Sweet. Love the subs...

I have a Custom amp ( 500 W per channel ). Made it out of Simple and easy to get 2N3055 transistors operating in class A/B push pull mode.

Let me tell you something fellas. Any transistorized amp is sure to perform better than a chip. Chip amps suffer from high end harmonics.Transistorized amps are also more stable and give more punch.

Anyone with basic electronics experience can assemble it. A few of my friends have done it already. The components plus the board wont cost you more than $60 max but beats most of the higher end amps by far.

Thanks for the advice on the fuse, its my first system and i hooked it up myself but had help with the headunit wire harness lol i will fersure put the fuse close to the battery the next time around and give it a try. And they are L7s

Didn't even notice the fuse, but now I do. You definitely should put it within 6-10" of the battery!

There wont be a next time because your truck will have burned to the ground by then. Do it now and save a headache or two.

LOL but yes it is supposed to be installed within 6" of the battery. Check out crutchfield.com (& their forums) for install plans, guides and advice.
