This is true! However i dont take my truck on the beach much, i live a block away, so i usually just walk or skate to go surf....
We actually do have some great spots in FL, i just saw a BUNCH more today whilst running some errands in a town more on the interior of the state, Ocala National forest, to be exact. But there were MANY trails running off into the woods that I want to try sometime....

Great pictures! I was there 11/17/07-- the last day before being closed for the winter.

Good to see a T4R there as that is what I am considering. Have a Jeep now and they are good but certainly not perfect. Here are some more Bald Mountain pictures if you can stand looking at Jeeps! : (The first few are from nearby Edison Pass where we went the afternoon before for a geocache.

Did you have a lift on your 4Runner when you went?
Was your 4Runner stock?

Looks fun, did you bottom out at all or scrape the bumpers or anything.

I hit a rock coming down a grade while turning to avoid another rock, and dented my front right bumper. If I had a spotter that wouldn't have happened. Other than that I had no problems with clearance on that trail.

It's only $400 to replace the bumper, but haven't gotten around to it yet, since I'm still going out frequently. I'll be getting it fixed in a month or so, it's beginning to become an eyesore. I'm also thinking of putting a ShrockWorks bumper on instead though.
