My take on Factory Fog Light Replacement

I ruined a pair of Micro DEs the same way. For the next pair I'm going to extend the breather fittings and plumb them towards the engine bay, like the extended diff breather mod. I'll also use hose clamps so the rubber boots have a more water-tight seal.

I never ruined a pair, but was super frustrated with them burning out all the time. Here's the saga of how they were fixed if you want some tips.

Actually that's where I got the ideas to extend the "breather" and clamp the boots LOL :biggrin1:

It's good that you can hook the new Lamps to the old wires... I would've used the Harness that came with the replacement kit.
But that's me.

The new lights did not come with a harness. Each light had ~6inches of wire coming off of it. I liked the idea of not adding another switch and using what's already there. To each their own.
