My Toyota Dealer just confirmed 6th Generation

I was in talks for a 2018 4Runner and backed out in hopes to get a 6th Gen. He then confirmed it was coming out in 2020.

"They won't be out until 2020 do you want to wait that long ? We can make you a great deal right now and then you can trade your 2018 Toyota 4 Runner for a 2020 because if you know 4 Runner's they don't lose value or maybe you can do a lease for 3 years?"

I guess I'm waiting for 2 Years from now to see the reliability, reviews, and for the MSRP to lower.

Dealer was actually thinking "this guy is gullible if i make him think the new model is going to take much longer to arrive, he'll just settle for a current model."

No lie, I once had a car salesman walk up with dumpy suit and tie on, and introduce himself in a weasely little Bronx accent as "Bucky Brazzina"

He reminded me of the lowest level guy who always dies first in a Mobster movie.

Maybe you can ask him what powertrain and hp/torque figures will be announced on the 6th gen, as well as which horse is a sure bet at the track this weekend.
