She's a fine looking ride. I bet you find yourself turning around in parking lots when you are walking away just to steal a glance, right? :)

Have you thought about getting some limited flares or bushwackers so the tires don't stick out? I'm not a fan of tires wider than the body because its illegal for one and off road they absolutely coat the car in crap (which is cool sometimes but not when the crap is full of rocks).

Very nice ride! Can you tell me where you picked up the seat covers as they seem to fit very nice.

yea 2nd that. I see them on eGay all the time and never think they will fit/look like they do in the pics. Yours look great though!

i had some seat covers off of ebay in my tacoma and they fit and looked very nice.
I like that stance in your 4runner, do you have wheel spacers or do the rims widen it out themselves?

who makes your seat covers? where did you get them? do you have any part numbers? i like how it comes with the cover for the center consol and the headrests as well.

thanks guys!

Techno - I do find myself looking back to sneak that last peak at it:D I haven't considered limited or bushwacker flaring since I like the standard skinnier trim the highlander package offered. I guess I'll just have to live with the dirt on my truck.

Clemsonfan is right! They are WetOkole, and I was able to get them off of a group buy which saved me about 20%.

nquaint - I'm glad you noticed the stance I've been trying and trying to get right. I first started stock then went to a 265/75 which was ok for me for about a month until I saw what my truck could like on 285s. Then to 285s but still not quite happy until I got the wheels which are 16*8 an inch wider than stock and have 3 5/8 backspacing vs the 4.5 stock. Now I'm happy, I think for the time being haha :bigok:

Looks great inside and out. The seat covers caught my eye too because they fit so perfectly. I think you should put the front and rear mud flaps on if I can throw in a suggestion. Unless you have them off for offroading, I think they would be a good finishing touch to a super clean look.

Very nice ride. I wish I had the time and patience to own a black Runner. What kind of dog do you have? I would love to see some pics of your '87. I have always wanted to do a ground-up restore on an 80's Runner.

thanks man!

So are you going on the mini UA?

Man I would love to, but I can't get the time off of work. Are you going?

The only way I could go would be to cancel the family vacation, I don't think that would go over to well with the wife and kids.

look like I will be going. I just need to get one of my rigs ready for the trip. Just that I'm not so sure which one to take.

Thanks

What can I say I like to torture myself with black. Nothing else cleans up like it but like you pointed out it's extremely difficult to maintain. I've gotten use to it and as long as you carry the proper cleaning tools with you it's not so bad. I have a 3 year old yellow lab who's coat is difficult to keep up with in between seasons:D

My 87 is a work in progress. I just got it and got a really good deal on it but I'm just cleaning it up a bit to take some proper pics. keep an eye out in the 1st gen forum I should be able to post some shots shortly
