Myles' Build Thread 2000 Limited, modded

You should also make sure you replace the lower balljoints with new OEM parts, common failure point on 3rd gens, then get an alignment if you haven't already.

alignment was done right after all the suspension work. lower ball joints looked okay, but the rocks will tell me when i am in the bush 4 hours from parts!

just ordered power steering rack bushing kit from toytec.

also another note, anyone else experienced a cracked e-locker motor? mine still works fine but the light on the dash was always flashing, so i took it apart, and freed up the gears, and noticed the motor (right around where the gear is to activate the locker), is cracked in a near perfect circle. But yet it still functions flawlessly.

Yeah, it seems like it does need alot or work. I just don't want to take a chance on that one. Too many red flags pop up about it. Anyways, the search continues.

I like the white flares, your setup looks clean and yet aggressive.

If I had access to a paint shop, obviously IMO....
- paint the frame white as well.
-paint front grille
-get rear air deflector (whatever you call it)
seeing all white 3rd gen would be sick.

Front bumper might be my next purchase, its so clean.

Nice work again
