Mysery Issue-- don't know what it is?

Hey everyone,

Sorry about my lack of profile, I will set one up, but for now, I would like to just ask for some advice.

I have a 2004 4runner stock sr5 V8 with about 107,000 miles on it. I just had new Yokohama Geolander A-T/S 's put on it and had my drivers side axle replaced. Here's the issue:

After that work, I began to notice a vibration around 60mph, as it has worsened it happens anywhere between 30 and 65mph. The vibration is coming from the front left i think, definitely the front, and it goes away when I turn the wheel to the left.

My tires are 265/70/17, the stock size is 265/65/17
the new cv axle is after market I got it from an auto store.
I was told my wheel bearing was a little loose on the front drivers side (left)
Oh, and the vibration stays there when I put my transmission in neutral, which i believe eliminates that as an option.

What could it be? Any ideas?

I am worried that the mechanic didn't put enough diff fluid back in, or used the wrong stuff, now that the 4th gen. needs fancy fluids. would this cause a vibration? Could it be the new tires? I do almost feel like I slow down quicker after I accelerate, but the noise goes away when I turn my wheel to the right, away from the drivers side. The sound was not there, at least not noticeable, until after the tire and axle replacements.
Could the new axle suck?

I also get a weird vibration at idle, when I stop sometimes at a light, like metal on metal. coming from the front. Heat plate?

Please help, I would love to avoid a pricey, possibly false diagnostic, where I am fixing and fixing "problems " that aren't the cause.

Thanks in advance, I really appreciate the info, this forum, in the past, has saved me a lot of grief, and taught me a lot of stuff that is good to know aboout my truck. really awesome
