mystery connection?

So I was being lazy today laying under the front bumper and looked up by the bottom of the washer fluid for the windshield and saw this connector just haning around. anyone know what this might be use for? it is only on the passenger side.

Maybe a temp sensor of some sort? I wonder. There is also a mystery connector in my 03 along the pass. fender halfway up that splits out of the wiring. No clue what it's for lol

My best guess ... this connector is for the low washer fluid indicator.

It is standard on all Canadian T4R models.

This indicator (I believe) is not standard on US models.
