Mystery Noise from 2007 Model

Occasionally when braking hard or making a sharp turn I will feel as if something is loose and has moved directly below my drivers side left foot.
Almost feel like there is a large piece of metal that directly below the drivers side carpeting hat has come loose. Its quite irritating. Had the up on the rack for a visual inspection and nothing was found. Is this normal or should I have the dealer rip the carpeting out and have a look see?

4th gens are famous for seat creaks, rattles and loose seat tracks. Is it possible you're seat is moving around and you're perceiving it as a clunk with movement in the floor? The other thing I'd do is snug the running board attachment bolts.

Welcome to the "rocking seat" syndrome. Sad part is that my Corvette does it too. I am betting that it has something to do with electric seat adusters......annoying though.
