Mystery Noise

I own a 2010 4Runner Trail with about 20k miles. It's been wonderful thus far but now, I seem to get a small rattle somewhere in the driver's side dash. It isn't very noticeable yet it still bothers me considerably. I thought maybe it's coming from the engine compartment but when I roll the window down I can't hear it at all. Has anyone else noticed this?

Guess I'll respond to update anyone else with this issue. I found the noise, it was the splash guard that is attached to the wheel well. It is a stiff plastic sheet and with vibration was making a sharp squeaking sound against its attaching plastic screw. Anyway, I just bought some epoxy and glued them together, sound gone. I hope this helps anyone else with this problem.

Can you post a picture? I am a little unclear. I also have a small vibration noise on the drivers side, that sounds like it is coming from inside the instrument panel.

Thanks.

Yeah, no problem. Sorry for the quality, it's a camera phone, and I'm at work. The first image gives you a larger picture of where it is.

The second is a more zoomed in of area of flap.panel.

I just wiped it clean with a damp rag and used some loctite tube glue/epoxy. The noise could only be heard when driving, but you can move the panel and hear it squeak like the devil. Hope this helps.
