Bought a 2005 Sport. My first 4Runner and i'm loving it. It came with a titanium OEM bug shield but I think I might change that to the tinted one. Anyone interested in the titanium one?

I'm glad I came across this site. I have found lots of ideas and I have a lot of plans to do on the 4Runner.

Here are a few pictures after I first got it.

I ordered a Westin Bull Bar and it just came in today. Ofcourse, I installed it right away.

Very nice looking 4runner. Now you need to get it lifted a bit and put some big tires on it for that snow.

I didn't know bug shields came in different colors. I've only seen the black/tinted ones. I wonder how a titanium one would look on a black 4runner lol.

I may be interested in the bug shield. Any idea how much you want for it?

This one is an exact match to the 4Runner and it is indeed a toyota shield indictated by "TOYOTA" etched into the right side. It's is in excellent condition, I just think the tint one will go better with the bull bar and the black headlight casings that I have ordered.

I will order the new bug shield and then see how much I will want for the titanium one. It seems the bug shields are running for around $90+shipping. Plus I'll have a box to ship it out in
I will be looking for around $60 for the titanium one.

Josh: I'll have to wait up on the lift kit and beefy tires. I've been set back a bit with all the stuff i've already ordered. All the ideas that people are giving on the site is costing me some serious $$.

Some 70 series tires , and a lift or leveling kit would look nice , especially with the Bull Bar on the front.

BUT , on the other hand congrats it looks great just the way it is too , but by the looks of it your getting bit by the mod bug already

So you can basically say that i've fallen into the abyss of modding this 4Runner.

bowhunter53- The tinted bug shield should be coming in any day so once I get it installed the titanium one will be ready to go if you still want it.

Received and installed the weathertech window visors and sunroof visor. They look great and very easy to install.

Love the weathertech window visors, I just installed some on my rig, they are great! They are much cleaner looking than the cheaper ones that just glue onto the paint on the door.

I received new tail lights and headlights which I'm currently installing. The taillights took all of 20 minutes to install. The headlights on the other hand are a pain in the ass. Pictures to come.

Ok, it took awhile to get this wired up the way I wanted. The lights on the bull bar are Hella Optilux. I went with these because they matched the new headlights I bought.

The headlight casing is black. I would have preferred them to be tinted but I couldn't find anywhere that sold them.

I'll take some daylight pictures tomorrow, but here are the night shots.

All the LED's run by the OEM parking light.
