Hows it going?
Im a long time lurker and finally signed up.
here is my 96 SR5 2wd T4r
198K and still purrs like no other.
i use her mostly to tow my toys around.

Tokico Trakaster
4wd Springs
Daystar 2.5" spacers
16x8 wheels 0 offset
265x75 BFG all terr.
NGK wires
K&N drop in filter
DVD headunit
CD changer
JL speakers all around
500W amp
12" sub
simple and clean how i like it.
no more $ will go into her since i plan on getting a new DBLCab TACO in the future.
ive changed the oil/water pump, headgaskets, wires etc. run slike new still knocking on 200K.......

Been in toyotas all my life, pops had a 2nd gen runner.
Had mine a while. But have always loved the taco and the 4.0L would be perfect for the power I want/need to tow with ease.
The runner tows fine but the new tacos hit the spot for me.
Lifted 18's and ill be happy with her.
The runner she is great gotta love it. But I need/perfer a bed.

The daystars were pretty good. Got them new on ebay for $160 front n rear. Simple install and rides decent

by rides decent do you mean close to factory?

and i heard that you cant tow w/ a spacer lift?

I wouldn't say like stock since its far from how it came..
I would say with the shocks n spacers its a tad on the rough side but to me its soft/decent.
This is the biggest thing I've owned n never owned anything that remained stock for more then 1 week.

And who said you can't tow with spacers?
Hell I've been towing with them so many times.
Just 3 weeks ago I made the haul with the trailor and car loaded from L.A to vegas. 70mph the whole way.
