Naked Runner and Painting Question

[Alistor]

Below are pics of my now naked runner. She is all ready for fresh carpet and seats on monday. Does anyone have a recommendation for a sound deadening pad I can put down under the carpet? Also i was wondering if anyone knows what kind of paint I can use to paint the center console (below) and trim pieces. I want to do them in black to match everything else. Thanks!

If you want to go cheap Lowes or Home Depot has this stuff called peal and stick or something like that. It is cheap, but probably won't last.

Dynamat is a popular choice, but is over rated in my opinion.

RAAMAT is probably the best bang for the buck.

If you want to go with the best I would go with Second Skin. They have a variety of products and some of them are around the price of Dynamat.
