What is the name of the location or shaft that when greased correctly helps with the rear end clunking ??

It's the rear driveshaft, more specifically, the slip yoke in the rear. Since you have 4wd, be sure to grease the front drivesshaft as well. It won't help the clunking, but it should still be done.
 
Rear Propeller Shaft, 3 zerks which need to be lubed. I use Valvoline #633 Molybdenum Disulfide Lithium Base Chassis Grease NLGI #2.
 
Slip Yoke and Prop. shaft is what I was looking for , I couldn't remember , it's that old age thing ....lol.

JA thanks for the tip on the grease. I'll have to pick some up. BTW , I still can't get over the perfect stance of your 4th gen. with the lift.
