Name this Leak

Okay well when I was removing the tacky mudflaps I noticed a greasy look in part of my mud covered under body. The greasy liquid drips down around the transmission, but my transmission fluid is at normal levels, and for my sake I really hope its not the tranny. Is the oil pan located above or near the transmission, because I have noticed my oil levels have been continuosly going down slowly. Or what else could it be? Thanks

when you touch the mystery grease/oil what color is it? reddish/brown is tranny fluid, blackish/brown is engine oil.
