4rumamok is correct. Official name is a/c room temperature sensor.

Really? I thought it was a humidity sensor. I'm about to install a digital HVAC controls on my Civic to replace the manual ones. Anyway, to do the swap, you have to install a humidity sensor and this looks exactly like it.
