Nav conversion

Hello T4R members. i am new here. Had an 07 JK for a few years and the wife wanted something more for the family so now a T4R member. We got a fairly stock SR5. I know with my JK I pulled a Mygig out of a Rubi and it was a plug and play. Do you guys know if teh T4R are like this. I see a HUGE issue with teh dash but has anyone done this. Sorry if its a repost, I searched and did not see it but on the JK forum I could never find want I wanted witha search but other members could haha.

There are quite a few threads on this subject, however, to answer your question NO, the NAV unit is not swapable. The wiring harness in the Limited (with Nav) is different than the harness in the SR5. They are not plug and play and the NAV unit will not work in your SR5.

Dang tahts what I was affraid of. I saw a thread where one of the guys had put in an aftermarket using a dash kit from an online sourse. Can you gusy post your pics of your aftermarket nav systems? I like the factory look but didint have $$$ for it.
