NAV disc for 2010 Needed for testing.

lol create an iso of the dvd and load it up on a private dropbox and pm everyone that asks for a copy :wink: :wink:

my new garmin comes on Monday so no biggie for me :)

I've got a 2011, (no big deal just saying incase there is a difference), but, all I need do is pop out the disc in there now, pop in this new one and it does all it needs to do on it's own? So what about all your saved addresses and POI's, do they remain? Yea, yea, I'm a bit challenged....:shrug: LOL :love: :lmao:

You can find the ISO on pirate bay sometimes.

Correct. Data is saved in memory in the head unit, the DVD is read only map and poi data.

Yes, just eject yours (click the info button, then NAV, then load DVD) and it does the rest. Your info will remain just as it was before.

I did not know it was a knockoff until someone above said so, and the disc does in fact look different, but it works perfectly. IMO, the best option for NAV updates.

FWIW, I used it today to get to my meeting with a Toyota Dealer, it was correct about what exit to take, and my Garmin was wrong.
 
My disc just came in this morning (fast shipping) and installed the new maps on my 2010 LE. Worked great, took a min to load but no issues. Best $17 I spent in a while..
 
Installed this morning in my 2011, seems to be working perfectly.....:thumb: Took a ride today to my closest BIG town about 25 miles one way. This DVD either added some GOOD things, or enhanced things I didn't know I had. For instance, the SAT/radio stations have some color to them now....and I like the way the NAV run's in a split-screen, the highway showing on the left side you're traveling, and the right side all the POIs, exit numbers, and distance to those exits.....Thanks guys!!!! :cheers:

I am now getting the (no disc Error) randomly after the nav runs for about 3-5 min. I thought it was my old disc, but its even doing it with this new disc. I can pull the disc out and re-load it and it works fine for a few miles, but then it errors out again.

anyone else have this issue?

I have gotten the "no disc error" upon startup maybe 2-3 times over the past 18months; never after it runs though. After 30sec to a minute the GPS starts to load - I always assumed this was the GPS attempting to "refresh" itself or possibly the colder temps were causing the GPS to not recognize the disc at first.

Havent seen this message since the winter or had any issues with the new disc.

Toy, I thought you had a 2013 4Runner with after-market NAV? If so this disc says for 2010-12 4Runners. Would it work in after-market NAV?

My 2011 doesn't seem to be giving me that problem. I only drove my truck that one day (24th) so far with no issues but taking it out today for another long ride, I'll let you know if any of those issues come up. Sorry to hear you're having problems.

My 2013 has SR5 has aftermarket NAV, but my TE has OEM NAV. Im thinking it may need to be cleaned.........I know its not the new disc, because its what it was doing that made me think i needed a new disc to start with.

I thought it was perhaps due to heat, but I pulled the disc and it is warm but not hot...???...

OK, :thumb3: I stand corrected. Maybe a disc cleaner may be in order. no problem with mine on todays drive....seems to be working perfectly. Good luck with yours..:cheers:

I stopped and bough a lense cleaner, problem is, I don't think the DVD is playing it. Now it comes on with the no DVD error, and then the map works for a couple min at a time.

Guess it the head unit.
 
So wait...do I order the navigation disk for my model year or do I get the 2014 model year version 13.1 for my 2011 limited?
