Nav help please

So i'm considering buying a 2004/2005 4x4 Limited. I'd like to have Navigation but i'm finding that they're hard to come by.

Does anyone know if you can simply buy that Nav system from Toyota and swap out the factory H/U? Anyone done this or know how much it would cost?

ps. I know there is more to it than just the head unit. I would need all the wiring harnesses and sensors, etc.

Do a search on this forum - your find several write up on complete installs (some with photos). Also go to OEMVALUE.COM for info on OEM units that will fit (often from a Solara). You'll pay big $ for new unit from the dealer. There are some quirks - believe you'll need JBL amplified unit (or buy JBL amplifier) and best if single (vice 6) CD unless you want to buy some costly trim pieces. THere is wiring req'd for speed sensor and hand brake. Writeups include adding rear camera, voice commands, bluetooth.
