ok here is wah i have. just installed an OEM nav setup on my 4R. i have the non changer bezel and the orig changer bezel. i cannot find the A/C controls for a limited with NAV. does anyone make a filler kit to fill in the gap on the sides of the nav unit with the changer bezel or am i SOL until i find the correct a/c controls.

also i have located the plug from toyota for the i think the speed sensor for the turn by turn feature so the nav works properly. where does the wire splice into the harness, is it anywhere behind the dash? it it all installed except for these two things. i will get the camera and speaker at a later date.

thanks in advance.

the VSS wire is behind the glovbox. If I recall it is the purple wire with a black stripe. Not 100% though, has been 6 months since I did my install. I can get some pics later though if you want.

No, no one makes a "filler" for that. Here's what I did to "remedy" that:

Here are some notes I had when I installed mine:
Reverse Wire (Drivers side Kick Panel, (red/yellow stripe))
Speed Sensor (Purple/Red Stripe HVAC Controls)
Hint 10: Been discussed before, but VSS wire is purple with red stripe, found in the large bundle of wires right behind the 3 HVAC controls. Any one will do.

thanks in advance.
Hope this helps ya! Good Luck :hatsoff:

I'm sort of confused...what exactly are you looking for? Is your HU too small in terms of width and you therefore have gaps on both sides? What does that have to do with your climate controls?

If you just need a filler, I got the Metra (?) kit from Best Buy for $20. It screws onto the sides of your HU and fills the gaps well.

when you have the factory nave on a 4th gen it uses the non cd changer bezel and heater-a/c controls. toyota made 2 different setups for the noncd changer/ nav and the cd changer radio. i had the changer in my '06 and changed it to the NAV setup. i have the non changer bezel now i need the controls or as listed above the adapter kit from schoche.

thanks to all who replied.
