Hello everyone. I'm not a 4Runner owner (although I do like them and wanted one at one time). I came across this board because of oemvalue.com.
I'm a 2004 Sienna owner and I think we have the exact same NAV systems. I was wondering if someone could give me the run down on the options available on your factory NAV unit.
On the Sienna, we have the main 3-in-1 head unit, the DVD ECU, and a rear entertainment system with surround.
I noticed that 4Runner also has a cd changer option?
Could someone please email me or pm me pictures of your nav unit's front controls and the manf. sticker on the unit, and the rear pin connections.
Also.. what would be really nice is the NAV schematics so I can see how to wire up a cd changer on my Sienna.
For what it is worth... if these are the same NAV units... over at www.siennaclub.org we've managed to modify the units to allow full time navigation changes and full time DVD player functionality .. so no more parking brakes and going under 2MPH.
Thanks in advance,
Karl
