NAV Steering Wheel Control Question

I've been away for a year or so and have a question. I had an '05 4Runner with a Camry NAV that worked great with my steering wheel (audio) controls. The '05 turned out to be a lemon and I had it replaced with an '06. I put the NAV into the '06 and when I had the steering wheel controls hooked up, it made the NAV go crazy. The LSD light came on, check engine light came on and the NAV wouldn't move on the screen when the vehicle moved. I asked back then and nobody answered. I figured after a year or more, somebody must have run into this as well.

Has anybody run into this? Did the pin-outs change from '05 to '06 for the steering wheel controls? Do I need a different cable? I know I've got it connected exactly like I did in the '05. I've just been living without it, but would like to get it working if at all possible. Thanks in advance!!

I believe the nav may have changed in 06 to the E7008? Not totally sure on the number, but they added bluetooth that year I think.

I figured something was different. I'd really rather not have to change out the NAV to a newer one. Does anybody know what changed on that cable that goes into that plug between the 05 and 06? The pin-outs must have changed. Thanks in advance!
