I just had an alpine navigation system installed in my 04 runner (W200 with nve-n872a) and I noticed that the installer did not connect the nav's dimmer (illumination) wire to the headlight circuit. This connection puts the nav map screen into night mode when the headlights are turned on. I really hate to take another day off from work to bring the truck in to have this fixed. Does anybody know of a simple place that I could tap into? The nav unit is accessable, so I just need to find a place to tap into the headlight circuit.
