Nav

Dear Mr. Obvious, how do I get the "radio/sat" display to stay on the screen? It either always goes back to phone, nav, or screen off.

I would like to figure this out too. Drives me nuts. Never use Nav except when out of town or trying to get to specific location in town. Use the audio features MUCH more often. I read the Nav manual...can't find anything about making it stay on the audio screen...was this answered in another thread?

I did it driving for the first time off the lot last night at a stop light. Just go to settings then Nav... there was a link for "auto screen change" or something. Turn it off. Very intuitive. Also, try searching because this has come up several times, and the exact wording might be different than I recall. But it took 10 seconds to do.

Thanks for the link... Under "Adjust the Tone" there seems to be an extra button (Position) that I don't have on my nav screen. It's not in the nav owners manual either.

Thank you! BTW, I did do search, but didn't find anything other than this original post. Also, watched that posted Navigation instruction vid, but it craps out my computer after about a minute every time...

For anybody else trying to find this, the setting is in the "General" area (after you push the settings button. (I kept going to Navi. or Audio...)

Anyone know how to get the little red footprints off the screen? I've noticed if I dont drive a road for a few days they disappear, but I dont want them showing up at all.

Not sure I understand what you mean by "footprints"? You may be referring to the tracking option on the Nav - it keeps track of where you have driven by droping a dot/square on the map (may appear different the more you zoom in/out). Try turing this option off.
