Navigation Mount

Ok so I am going on a road trip pretty soon and I decided to get a navigation. This is an aftermarket navigation and I dont know too much about it. Its a garmin nuvi btw. Anyways, the only concern I have right now is how to mount the gps. How do you mount your GPS? I heard the window suction one doesnt stick very long so Im looking for an alternative way.

I use Nav Mat for mine.

It does seldomly not stick on the Nav Mat...but all you have to do it clean it & you're back to normal.

Here's what i've been using for the past 3 years now.. it mounts on one of the bolts that holds your passenger seat.

I'd been using an older & MUCH larger Garmin unit then the nuvi with Vent Mount that worked really well. There's some listed for under five bucks on the ebay link above.

My coworker used the mount member blindside listed in his RX300. He said, the flexible part could be longer to make the nav higher in his RX.
