Could someone explain what the main difference is between the factory Navigation system for a 4Runner and the Solaris / Camry units? I've read quite a few threads and it seems like the Solaris / Camry units are essentially one piece, whereas the 4Runner units requires the Nav DVD to be places in the glove box. Is that true? Are there any cost implications or just the mechanics of the install?
Does anyone know if you can order the factory 4Runner Nav system and retro fit it?
