lets see your navigations screen shots-menus, just off, driving at night not wanting glare, just a clock option perhaps? just want to know whats the most pleasing to the ol' peepers

I don't have pics right now. But there's no such thing as a screen saver on the Toyota factory nav, unlike Honda navs with the astroid/going through space boring PC style screen save. You can shut off the screen, show the audio control screen, or have map position of where you are or as your driving along.

Or if you turn the system off, it will show a graphic with two big speakers.

on a late vegas trip a few weeks ago I just turned off my screen. its amazing how bright the AVN screen can be if you're in the middle of the desert without any light around.

ditto. No exciting screen savers from me. I wish I could just have my welcome screen as my wallpaper. See below.

You have a split-screen option, where you can have two different calibrations.. like one zoomed in real close, the other backed off, etc.

There's also a compass display where it updates the Latitude and Longitude as your driving.

You can also have your bluetooth device connect when you first start up the truck. I didn't have my cellphone with me so that's why it says the connection failed.

I hope the photos were helpful. You can always turn the display off and it is totally blacked out. You can also adjust the brightness and contrast and make the screen as bright or as subdued as you want.
