Navigation update....not easy

I have tried to find a way to identify a way to accurately identify the correct update to purchase. I am trying to buy it off ebay at a reduced price (not the dealer). Is there a site which outlines it clearly? Thanks in advance for any help.

What year 4Runner do you have? 03-04 should have a 3rd gen nav, 05 has a 4th gen nav, not sure about the other years.
