FYI-
The Nitrous Enterprises homepage has been updated with a bunch of pics, etc. We still have a ton to add, and have 2 new parts to introduce early next week. The paypal system will appear as "secure" after our new bank account is setup on wed. Again, thanks for the continued interest all...for now:

Do you accept payments any other way? I closed my Paypal account due to a lot of---lets call them---book keeping errors on their part. After a lot of phone calls. emails, and headaches, I finally got my money back from them.

Thanks

Shaun-
Of course we do. During our initial startup, we accepted both money orders and personal checks. This is still an option, as we just completed another money order transaction a few days ago. We are more than willing to work out other forms of payment for anyone, we just concluded that the mass populous would be more interested in the pay pal scenario. The best thing you can do is email us at: [email protected] and tell us what you are thinking. Also, if you dont feel a 3/4" spacer is going to be tall enough for you, we can change that as well. Remember though, our 4/3 kit that gives a solid 4" in the front only measures out to 2.25" at the strut tower. An exponential gain is made at the wheel, turning 2.25" of spacer material into 4" of lift at the hub. Whatever you want to do, we will do it. I hope this helps. Thanks as usual.

Billy:)

The website is starting to look good. Keep up the good work.

2 things:
1) The front suspension uses a lever action on the A-arms from the strut so the lift is linear equation of the spacer height not exponential lift = 1.7 * spacer height :nerd:

2) As the rear is an axle how does a 2.5" spacer give 3" lift?

Another quick question, how much is it for just the complete rear kit for XREAS (spacers + relocators)?

bulldog - it'd be $249 for 2 rear spacers and 2 re-locs ...

as for your question, i'll let Billy field that one! :D

bulldog -- I wasn't sure how to answer this, so Billy answered it for me and asked that I post the following for him as he lost his internet connection:

Though a lot of people dont believe that putting a spacer on top of a coil creates a 'pre-load' scenario, it actually does. Hence the reason that revtek's rear spacer measures 2" even and gives 2.5"+ of lift, and daystar's measures 1.5" but gives an even 2" of lift. Putting a coil spacer into the rear suspension is not going to render the results gained in the front due to the IFS vs. the solid axle rear end, but the overall theory is still similar. By putting the rear spacer on top of the coil you are essentially moving the upper mount of the coil down the measured amount of the spacer. Obviously this is going to push down on the axle, or up on the frame depending how you look at it, but it also does cause the coil to compress some and tighen up. Though not an exact 'preload' scenario, the coil still wants to fight back in a sense and therefore does add to the lift generated by the coil spacer, rendering the overall lift height to be exponentially greater depending on the height of the coil spacer. Info about this can be found all over the net and is debated relentlessly. It is a tough concept to grasp and I cannot say that I even have a completely confident understanding of it myself, though I hope this explaination helps to shed some light on the situation.

Ok, lets not get off topic on this thread. We can discuss this in another thread. So $249 for the rear kit, sounds fair I wil defintely have to look into it further.

Billy, your truck is amazing! could you gimme a run down on ALL your mods, I love how your truck looks!
