Nebraska

Central Iowa here but I get down to Lincoln, NE from time to time to see friends/pillage salvage yards along the way :) . I actually picked up a 96 down in Omaha a few months ago to drive as I rebuild my 96 Taco.

I say we liven this thread up and try and get a few things going. Anyone know ANYWHERE in the Omaha area (or within 30 minutes) to get off road...somewhat legally preferred.

If not I think a trip to Tuttle creek is in order...

Uh...dirt roads. That's about it. There are some cool ones over in the loess hills of Iowa. I can provide .gpx files if anyone really wants them (from dual sport motorcycling).

I'm almost never on this forum, so email me if anyone wants them. CirclefbreweryATgmail. ;)

My fiance and I live in Lincoln, basically right near the Waverly exit on I-80, but were leaving in a couple weeks to Kansas for a couple days... I also haven't done nearly anything to my car as much as everyone else here, so it wouldnt be much to look at lol.

Haha....its all good.......I feel like I haven't done nearly enough to mine!

Well Im always down for a meet up and possibly hitting some trails. I also have a garage and a fair amount of tools if anyone needs help with their right.:usa2:

Down here in South Central NE, so Denver is about as close to me as Omaha. Still would love to meet and greet sometime!

Hey guys, I'm in Lincoln. Kinda new to the forum and definitely new to owning a 4runner. Just bought one. It's got a build started on it. It's seen some good trails out in Utah but unfortunately I wasn't with it then. Anyways, please hit me up if anyone wants to wrench or wheel. I'm looking forward to the winter passing so I can start the metal fab projects. Hope to meet some local runners.

Omaha here too, just got my T4R last weekend, changed the oil (Mobile 1 high mileage) filter, air filter, plugs and wires and getting new set of tires today (Hercules Ironman All Country AT @ 265/75/R16) and hoping they wont rub! Also getting them balanced on Hunter machine, hoping for a smooth ride....

Glad to be here and looking forward to meeting fellow locals... Just as a sidenote, I saw another 3rd gen T4R parked at work so now Im on a mission to find out who they are and convince them to join the forums....

I'm actually working on that...I have a buddy with a 2nd gen Taco and we're both looking to coordinate something with both forums. It appears that a few guys with Tacos and FJs meet on a monthly basis. Seems appropriate to get some damn 4Rnrs in the mix. I will post something the minute I hear from him. Cheers!

You Nebraska boys should plan a trip up to the Black Hills Cruiser Classic in July. Cost is $150 and includes camping, a shirt and dinner Saturday. Good times and great wheeling.

Not sure if anyone is interested or know of someone interested but I'm selling my Sport Edition wheels for $200obo. Cheers!

Very interesting... I was planning a trip to Black Hills around that time as I do every year so this sounds like it could work! Thanks for the heads up, will look into this for sure!
