need a portable air compressor

Hey, I've been looking into getting a portable air compressor, and I saw this one on the Sears site.

I like it because it runs off standard household 120V so I can also use it in the garage.

Well, my runner has the 120v outlet in it. Would it be ok to plug something like this compressor into this outlet and air up my tires (in case I'm not at home and needed to air up). Or would there be any concerns of overheating my trucks 120V outlet or causing excess drain on my battery?

What are your thoughts?

the inverter they use on that 120VAC plug in the 4runner is not rated high enough to run such a thing. I think its only a 125 watt maybe 150 tops. Check the wattage required by the compressor.
I have a 1200 watt inverter I got (but still haven't hard-wired it) and I'm fairly sure that would run the compressor. Look into that or just a different compressor.
