Need a QUICK answer...diff about to be closed up!!

Banged up my ONLY diff real bad (2WD) and since I had to get the diff repaired was given an option for a Auburn LSD at cost of parts only. Pro Gear Diffs just called and says Auburn is a no-go but hey have an Eaton TruTrac. Don't know anything about this LSD...

I don't have much time to decide as I need my vehicle today.

Do I go with the Eaton???

I have an Eaton TruTrac in my 4Runner (4X4). It's a great diff and will give you lots of traction that will help your 2WD. It's quiet, smooth, great on wet pavement (no 'surprise' lockups when you least expect or want it), lasts forever (I guess you could destroy one if you tried hard enough). A little pricey (~$475-500, but probably cheap compared to a Toyota diff) but a great diff.

Get the TrueTrac. I have one in my 4runner and love it. It has 56,000 trouble free miles on it. It is the best mod I have made to the 4runner.

I had a TruTrac in my front diff and I've driven it on dry roads, so it definitely is road friendly. Get it.

The Auburns are pure garbage. The TrueTrac is a great unit, good choice!
